Consultant Services Manager (CSM) role: The CSM serves as the main point of contact to the consultants at clients across our company. Working closely with human resources, recruiting and business development, the CSM will be responsible for on-boarding /off-boarding, facilitating onsite efforts such as candidate first day walk ins and status check in meetings, coordinating and managing social functions, and providing support regarding benefits, client specific requests and general inquiries.

 

Consultant Service Manager’s duties:

  • Establishes relationships with consultants to encourage retention, generate business leads and referrals
  • Meets with consultants to make sure project is running smoothly, address any issues, discover if anything has changed with their status or team, learn about the project they are supporting to share with sales/recruiting teams, inquire about possible hiring needs within their group, and continue to build relationship
  • Completes check ins at regularly scheduled intervals to ensure we are aware of any issues and to establish relationship/trust to ensure the consultant completes their full contract (First day, second week, 30 day, quarterly, etc)
  • Communicate client policies and updates on an as-needed basis to the consultants
  • Coordination and communication with the client’s vendor management team as it relates to the consultants on boarding, off boarding, and client compliance requirements
  • Helps to handle all on boarding paperwork, if needed, as it relates to each client
  • Responsible for reconnecting consultant with recruiting team if remarketing is needed.
  • Helps to handle all onsite or offsite consultant terminations, makes sure consultant is aware of the client’s offboarding guidelines, helps coordinate return of client and consultant property or equipment, ensures final time is entered
  • Informs client and/or internal teams of pay changes, schedule changes, PTO requests, or medical leave situations
  • Handles VISA letter requests, travel expense reports, and client training as needed

      Job Description:

      The Midtown Group is looking for full-time attorney to perform as the Company’s Legal generalist and to advise the company teams and employees on matters that fall across all legal disciplines. Along with full management and oversight of Legal, the successful candidate in this role will provide strategic guidance, support and advisement to senior management across Legal, compliance and regulatory matters, including policy development and interpretation, contract management, litigation, federal, state, and labor and employment. The attorney will manage and partner with outside legal counsel when needed. The successful candidate must be a team player, curious and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills where able to outline risk / reward analysis in succinct ways, executive briefings on such matters, and to outline and explain sometimes legal complexities to non-legal members of the organization. Ideal candidate has unbound energy to work tirelessly with internal management team to provide advocacy, partnership and appropriately relevant policies and procedure administration to all employees, contractors, clients and stakeholders. This role is a true generalist and advisor and a key member of the Company’s Operations Team.

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      None; independent contributor; unilateral peer team management relating to risk & exposure guidance and enforcement across Company.

      Duties/Responsibilities:

      The successful candidate will be expected to:

      • Provide strategic partnership and counsel to the Company’s CEO, CPO & HR team & on full range of employment & compliance matters including investigating complaint escalations and recommendations for resolution, disciplinary matters, manage workers compensation claims, advise and assist with employee terminations as appropriate, guide on immigration matters, benefits, health & safety, DE&I (inclusion, equity and diversity) initiatives, and general rollout and administration of the Company’s employment policies and practices.
      • Serve as Compliance Officer for the company and perform audits for general compliance issues, including management of AAP, EEO1, etc. 
      • Review legal issues and determine when and how to consult outside counsel, if needed.
      • Review of all commercial contracts including government contracts, sub-contractor agreements, local government certifications and negotiations of said contracts where required.
      • Provide Legal representation at hearings, mediations, etc., where required.
      • Manage risk mitigation and insurance policies.
      • Review and provide partnership & guidance on the drafting and development of HR policies and procedures where needed.
      • Ensure compliance through ensuring annual requisite training program rollout.
      • Handle labor and union related legal matters and generally assist the company in all other employment related matters, including advising on the terms of the various collective bargaining agreements, assisting on grievances and the records thereof, preparing for and conducting any arbitrations resulting from the development and interpretation of company related policies and programs related to represented employees.
      • Management of outside counsel, responding to administrative charges, attorney’s letters, settlement demands and claims.
      • Negotiate appropriate resolutions to claims and other pending matters. 
      • Support business development and integration of new businesses.
      • Advise on corporate governance and internal processes.

      Required Skills/Knowledge:

      • Knowledge and understanding of laws, regulations, institutional policies, procedures and regulatory governance for appropriate jurisdictions, in consultation with local counsel, as required.

            • Help the business improve processes through systems management, workflow & data analysis.

              National staffing and recruiting firm experiencing significant growth is seeking an accounting professional to perform general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and other accounting duties. This role will provide accounting support to the Finance Department, supporting the firm’s accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, and various account reconciliations, and report to the Director of Finance.

              Partial listing of duties and responsibilities include the following:

              • Reconciling all bank accounts on a weekly basis
              • Performing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable related activities required for monthly close, including all functions required to ensure month end deadlines are met
              • Ensuring accuracy of expense allocation and general ledger coding
              • Updating and maintaining AP, Payroll and AR transactions within QuickBooks, including detailed data entry to ensure clear documentation of all transactions
              • Reconcile and prepare journal entries for company corporate credit card program
              • Communicating with finance support staff and outside vendors on AP-related issues
              • Setting up and maintaining vendor database including requested W-9’s and banking information for vendors and processing annual 1099’s using QuickBooks

              • Reconciling all payroll taxes including quarterly unemployment taxes to ensure the monthly employee withholdings match the payments/reports filed by the payroll company monthly.
              • Interface with employee onboarding and offboarding team and related procedures as needed
              • Monitoring accounts receivable aging and documenting and posting cash receipts
              • Assisting with preparation of client invoices, including compiling support documentation, liaising with clients on invoicing questions, and reconciliation with QuickBooks
              • Supporting other Finance Department functions, including posting of journal entries and generating financial reports for management review

              Qualifications:

              • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred however will consider a Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and a minimum of 3 years related experience in general ledger and payroll accounting.
              • Thorough knowledge of accounting, including U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), understanding of the general ledger and the relationships between various general ledger accounts
